Everything you need to know.

Answers to common questions about ordering, nationwide delivery, bulk discounts, and sourcing unlisted items.

Gencom operates a quote-based catalog, not a self-checkout shop. The process:

  1. Browse the catalog and add items to your quote list
  2. Submit the list with quantities and delivery location
  3. Receive an itemised quote within one business day
  4. Approve, we invoice, we deliver

This lets us offer transparent volume-based pricing, which a fixed online price simply can’t do.

Yes — Gencom delivers across all regions of Tanzania, including Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, Mbeya, Tanga, Iringa, Songea, Kigoma, Tabora, Zanzibar, and every regional centre in between.

Dar es Salaam orders: 1–2 business days. Upcountry: 2–7 business days depending on region and freight method. Delivery cost is itemised clearly in your quote.

Yes. Volume pricing is built into our model. Qualifying corporate, institutional, and tender orders automatically receive wholesale-tier pricing.

We also offer framework agreements for recurring orders, custom catalogs, and net payment terms for established clients.

Absolutely. No minimum order quantities on most products. If you need one notebook, one calculator, or one printer cartridge, just send us a message.

For Dar es Salaam-area small orders, pickup from our Zona Street office may also be available.

The catalog is a starting point, not a limit. If you don’t see it listed, ask anyway.

Our sourcing network — especially through General Supply — extends well beyond what’s on the shelf. Send us a description, photo, or spec sheet and we’ll come back with sourcing options and pricing.
